The Second to the Thessalonians 2:
For who is the deception/delusion intended for, in these verses? For the witches or for the non-witches?
Easy-to-Read Version (ERV) 2 Timothy 3: 13 People who are evil and cheat others will become worse and worse. They will fool others, but they will also be fooling themselves.
Answer? How about these verses?
Wisdom 11:15-16 Good News Translation (GNT)
15 Their wickedness misled them into silly ideas, so that they worshiped snakes and other disgusting animals, creatures without any powers of reason. Because of this, you punished them with millions of such animals, 16 and taught them that punishment for sin takes the same form as the sin itself.
Wisdom 11:15-16 New American Bible (Revised Edition) (NABRE)
15 In return for their senseless, wicked thoughts,
which misled them into worshiping dumb[a] serpents and worthless insects,
You sent upon them swarms of dumb creatures for vengeance;
16 that they might recognize that one is punished by the very things through which one sins.
Wisdom 11:16-18 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)
16 But for the foolish devices of their iniquity, because some being deceived worshipped dumb serpents and worthless beasts, thou didst send upon them a multitude of dumb beasts for vengeance.
17 That they might know that by what things a man sinneth, by the same also he is tormented.
Expanded Bible (EXB) 9 Then the fifth angel blew his trumpet, and I saw a star (false light star Lucifear Isaiah 14:12; 2 Cor 11:14) fall from ·the sky [or heaven] to the earth. The star was given the key to the ·deep hole [shaft] that leads to the bottomless pit [ of the Abyss; a prison for fallen angels; Luke 8:31; Rom. 10:7]. 2 Then it [or he] opened up the ·hole that leads to the bottomless pit [shaft of the Abyss], and smoke came up from the ·hole [shaft] like smoke from a ·big [great; giant] furnace. Then the sun and ·sky [air] became dark because of the smoke from the ·hole [shaft]. 3 Then locusts came down to the earth out of the smoke and they were given the power to sting like scorpions. 4 They were told not to harm [damage]the grass on the earth or any ·plant [greenery] or tree. They could ·harm [damage] only the people who did not have the sign [seal] of God on their foreheads [7:3]. 5 These locusts were not ·given the power [permitted] to kill anyone, but to cause pain to [torture; torment] the people for five months. And ·the pain they felt was like the pain a scorpion gives [L their torture/torment was like the torture/torment of a scorpion] when it stings someone. 6 During those days people will look for a way to die, but they will not find it. They will want [long; desire] to die, but death will run away [flee] from them. 7 The locusts looked like horses ·prepared [equipped; trained] for battle [Joel 2:4]. On their heads they wore what looked like crowns of gold [C indicating their victory; 2:10], and their faces looked like human faces. 8 Their hair was like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth [Joel 1:6]. 9 Their chests looked like iron breastplates, and the sound of their wings was like the noise of many horses and chariots ·hurrying [charging; running] into battle [Joel 2:5]. 10 The locusts had tails with stingers like scorpions, and in their tails was their ·power [authority] to ·hurt [damage; harm] people for five months. 11 The locusts had a king who was the (fallen) angel of the bottomless pit. His name in the Hebrew language is Abaddon and in the Greek language is Apollyon [ both mean “Destroyer”; perhaps a reference to Satan].
The Voice (VOICE) Revelation 9
15 Then the four messengers, who had been held in chains (most likely the fallen ones) until the hour and the day and the month and the year when they would kill one-third of humanity, were released. 16 I heard that 200 million soldiers rode in the cavalry. 17 This is how these horses and their riders appeared in my vision: the riders wore breastplates of fiery red, smoky blue,[a] and sulfur yellow. The heads of the horses seemed to be like the heads of lions; they breathed fire and smoke and sulfur from their mouths, 18 killing one-third of humanity with the three plagues coming out of their mouths. 19 The lethal power of these horses was not only in their mouths but also in their tails because their tails, which resembled snakes, had heads that inflicted injury.
International Standard Version (ISV) Revelation 9:20 The rest of the people who survived these plagues did not repent from their evil actions[m] or stop worshiping demons and idols made of gold, silver, bronze, stone, and wood, which cannot see, hear, or walk. 21 They did not repent from their murders, their witchcraft, their sexual immorality, or their thefts.

Wycliffe Bible (WYC) Isaiah 14:12 A! Lucifer, that risedest early, how fellest thou down from heaven; thou that woundedest folks (nations), felledest down into [the] earth13 Which saidest in thine heart, I shall ascend into heaven, I shall enhance my seat above the stars of (the) heaven(s); I shall sit in the hill of (the) testament, in the sides of the north. 14 I shall ascend on the highness of (the) clouds; I shall be like the Highest. 15 Nevertheless thou shalt be drawn down to hell, into the depth of the pit.
2 Corinthians 11:13-15 Expanded Bible (EXB)
13 Such men are ·not true apostles [false apostles; pseudo-apostles] but are ·workers who lie [deceitful workers]. ·They change themselves to look like […disguising themselves as; …masquerading as] apostles of Christ. 14 ·This does not surprise us [And no wonder, since…]. Even Satan ·changes himself to look like [disguises himself as; masquerades as] an ·angel [messenger]of light [C trying to fool people into thinking he is from God, who is pure light]. 15 So it does not surprise us if Satan’s servants also ·make themselves look like [masquerade as] servants ·who work for what is right. But ·in the end they will be punished for what they do [L their end will match their deeds].
